Description
The Adelaïde COX facility in Thiais has been welcoming isolated women and single-parent families since its opening, through two programs: a Family Boarding House and a Social Residence.
With a total of 46 independent housing units, life in this community runs smoothly between recreational and hands-on activities aimed at fighting loneliness, strengthening bonds, and building life projects.
The team consists of 5 dedicated employees, deeply committed to the well-being of residents.
The goals of this solidarity day are to:
• Improve the residents' living environment
• Reduce costs
• Involve residents in hands-on work
• Share a moment of solidarity with engaged volunteers
The various workshops include:
1. Exterior shutter painting workshop (quote attached)
2. Painting and creation of a reading corner in Building F corridors (scaffolding quote attached)
3. Painting part of the common room
