Participation in Powerday is entirely voluntary and therefore not mandatory.
However, it is an excellent opportunity to discover and/or become more involved in the non-profit sector with your colleagues, making it a key moment in BU life.

Participants do not need to take a day off: the day must be charged to the internal code INT0408 – Powerday.

As part of its mission and strategic plan, Wavestone strongly encourages everyone to take part.
As a reminder, the firm’s CSR policy states that at least 1% of employees’ annual working time should be dedicated to skills-based volunteering and/or Powerday activities.

This year, Wavestone has set a global target of over 3000 participants across all offices. So don’t hesitate—go for it!

All employees can take part in this day of solidarity, including interns, apprentices, and new joiners, provided that:

• their start date is no later than the week of their team’s Powerday,
• and places are available.

The scope of action of the selected non-profits is very broad and includes:

• environment,
• health and disability,
• children and youth,
• professional integration,
• education and citizenship,
• sports and culture,
• diversity.

Two types of projects are available:

1) Skills-based volunteering

Projects that leverage Wavestone employees’ professional skills to support a non-profit organisation on a specific topic.

Examples:

• Mobile application scoping,
• Training offer development,
• Service offering structuring, etc.

These projects may take place at Wavestone offices or at the non-profit’s premises.

2) Field actions

Projects carried out within the non-profit facilities or in public spaces, either to support their core mission or improve their environment.

Examples:

• Food collection and sorting,
• Distribution of solidarity meals,
• Cleaning and renovation of spaces, etc.

No. Powerday participation is managed at team level.
To access the relevant projects, each participant must first specify their BU / office / functional team.

The objective is to make Powerday a ensure each team collectively contributes to supporting specific partner associations, while sharing a meaningful experiencefor each group.

There are no exceptions to these cases. Employees must choose a project from among those available to their home team, even if they live closer to another office.

No.Powerday is designed as a dedicated day for teams to collectively support associations, with a specific date for each team.

No. Projects are designed to last a full day.
However, some schedule flexibility is possible (e.g. leaving one hour earlier to catch a train).

⚠️ Important:
By registering, employees commit to participating on the day itself.
Cancellations are only accepted in exceptional circumstances and must be communicated as early as possible to both the Project Lead and the Powerday team, so the spot can be reassigned if needed.

Teams are formed based on:

• participants’ expressed preferences based on the platform choice,
• constraints and criteria defined by the non-profits.

It is not possible to register as a pre-formed team.

Projects are sourced independently by geographical area.
Each office is responsible for finding enough projects so that all employees can participate.

For offices with several teams or BUs, projects are distributed across teams by the Powerday Core Team (or local Powerday Ambassadors) before registrations open, considering:

• the number of available spots per project,
• the number of employees per team,
• alignment between project constraints (location, dates, required skills, etc.) and team constraints,
• fair distribution between field projects and skills-based projects,
• fair distribution of project locations (e.g. inner-city vs. outside the city).

The number of available spots depends on the headcount of each team / BU.
There is space for everyone—but registrations operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may update their project choices, subject to remaining availability, up until the registration deadline at the latest.

The Project Lead’s role is to ensure smooth collaboration between the non-profit organisation and the project team.
It is not time-consuming but remains essential.

• Main responsibilities:

• Before D-day: contact the non-profit to finalize logistics (transport, lunch, schedule, deliverables, etc.).
• On D-day: act as the main point of contact for participants and coordinate with the non-profit supervisor.
• Track attendance (half-day basis) and have it validated by the non-profit representative.

This option is open to all employees, regardless of grade or role, during registration.
No prerequisites are required.

Each project must have a Project Lead. If there are no volunteers, the Powerday team will appoint one.

Meal arrangements are specified in the project description.
The two most common cases are:

1. The non-profit does not provide meals: the team organises a shared lunch (picnic / group lunch). Meal vouchers remain available.
2. The non-profit offers catering facilities and covers the meal: simply enjoy and thank your host.

By registering, participants accept these conditions.

Yes. Wavestone may cover the purchase of necessary equipment (paint, brushes, etc.), provided that:

• the budget is defined together with Wavestone,
• and validated by the Powerday team before registrations open.

Logistics are handled by the Project Lead.
Carpooling within the team or coordination with the non-profit is encouraged.
