Help make the National Repair Days a success by reaching out to local repair community members! After a briefing and team preparation session with the Make.org Foundation, you’ll head out in small groups to meet repairers, organizations, workshops, and businesses committed to the cause to introduce them to the event and encourage them to participate or organize their own initiatives. Through on-the-ground discussions, group challenges, social time, and an end-of-day debrief, this dynamic mission will help you develop your communication skills while supporting a concrete effort to promote the circular economy and repair. SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY 9:00 a.m. – Welcome 9:30 a.m. – Training and preparation for outreach -Presentation of the stakeholders to be met and the key messages to convey. -Role-playing and outreach practice -Formation of field teams. 10:30 a.m. – Departure to meet repair community members 12:30 p.m. – Team lunch 2:00 p.m. – Resume outreach 4:00 p.m. – Group debrief -Sharing of notable feedback and best practices. -Discussion with the Make.org Foundation on next steps. -Feedback session and closing remarks.
