Description
By taking part in this tree-seed harvest, you will help Agrof'île build up a stock of seeds from plant species adapted to the local climate and soil. We plan to use them to grow hedgerows on farms or in our tree nursery.
Once at the collection site, we will teach you how to identify tree and shrub species and their fruits, particularly those ripe for collection. The goal will be to gather as many seeds as possible from a wide variety of species. The day will also be an opportunity to present Agrof'île's activities, explain why we grow hedgerows from seeds instead of planting them, and what the seeds will be used for in agroforestry.
