Maintenance and enhancement of an educational garden

Description
CPN Val de Seine, together with another association, looks after the garden of « la serre aux légumes » in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. This space is both a community garden for local residents (managed by the other association) and an educational garden that we manage. This piece of nature at the heart of a very urban neighbourhood is a haven of peace with fruit trees (medlar, lemon, fig...) and a pond. The goal of this project is to enhance and secure the pond, develop wildlife refuges (insects, birds, bats, pond...), and adapt the space for people with reduced mobility (raised planter beds...).
During the day, we will offer a nature-awareness session through a garden tour and a discovery of pond biodiversity.
