Description

Our approach involves spending a day immersed in the logistics warehouse of Restos du Cœur du Val d'Oise, supporting volunteers and integration employees as a « volunteer for a day ». Several missions may be offered depending on the day's activities: - Sorting toys: enabling every family to offer a gift at Christmas or for a birthday. - Sorting clothes: because donating clothing means improving dignity for the people we welcome. Every item must be clean and in good condition before being sent for distribution at the centres. - Sorting hygiene products seized at Paris airports: making use of hygiene items, food and other goods that would otherwise be discarded. - Sorting fruit and vegetables: concretely fighting food waste is at the heart of our priorities. - Teammate to an integration employee: supporting an employee in preparing the pallets ordered by distribution centres and exchanging know-how.
