Description
The Forts pour Demain association works to feed tomorrow's humanity by developing a sustainable, local and citizen-based food ecosystem. Its mission is to design and manage forest-gardens inspired by natural ecosystems, capable of producing healthy and abundant food with minimal collective human intervention. Faced with the limits of the conventional agri-food system — a major emitter of greenhouse gases, responsible for pollution, soil erosion and loss of biodiversity — the association proposes a circular alternative based on the forest model, a true carbon sink. Its ambition is to spread on a large scale to strengthen the food resilience of territories, protect the environment, promote healthier consumption patterns and recreate social connections.
